In the years that follow the Krummennaab factory develops into the most modern porcelain factory in Europe. The production process is mechanised, tunnel kilns are installed and the main facility is modernised.

The Seltmann family acquires the royally privileged porcelain factory at Tettau. The same year, Wilhelm Seltmann receives an honorary doctorate from the Technical University of Munich.
